The BCGD has worked with key opinion leaders from all sectors to develop a new consensus on globalization. We believe that trade and globalization combined with capacity building and the rule of law foster economic development and growth.

The BCGD has provided a platform for companies to work with NGOs, government officials and other opinion leaders, to address business issues ranging from rule of law and governance to labor standards compliance, and from trade facilitation to intellectual property protection.

BCGD is the leading advocate for integrating international economic and trade policies with economic development policies. As part of this work, BCGD promotes increased dialogue between stakeholders, including the private sector, U.S. trade and development agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
